Christmas is approaching and many restaurants have opened up for Christmas menus. Not all restaurants offer a Christmas lunch, and those that do are quickly fully booked as christmas is a busy holiday for restaurants. If you haven't booked a table yet, we are here to help. Keep reading and find our list of restaurants that offer Christmas lunch or dinner. Some of the restaurants have a classic Danish Christmas lunch, and others have Christmas menus with a twist. You'll find restaurants with smørrebrød, as well as menus containing hot dishes with duck and pork. Are you looking for an alternative to the traditional Christmas lunch, this is also an option. SCHØNNEMANN
Schønnemann is a classic Danish smørrebrød restaurant and at Christmas time the coziness is turned up an extra notch. As the pranksters break loose, the atmosphere gets louder and louder in the festively decorated restaurant. It cannot be ruled out that some of the guests will also be decorated. Lunch is served from: 11:30-14:00 or 14:14-17:00Schønnemann is usually only open for lunch, but during the Christmas season they also open up for Christmas fun in the evening. They serve their evening Christmas dinner from 18:30-23:00

MIKKELLER FÆRGEKROEN
In an old half-timbered house by the lake in Tivoli lies Mikkeller Færgekroen. Here, modern beer from their own brewery is combined with traditional Danish food in the form of various tavern classics - with a focus on seasonal ingredients. The style is authentic, the portions are generous and each dish goes perfectly with their home-brewed beer. Come and enjoy a cozy evening with Christmas lights in Tivoli and a delicious Christmas lunch at Færgekroen. Expect all the favorites such as roast pork with crispy crackling pork rinds, browned potatoes and smoked salmon, marinated herring and of course plenty of aquavit to keep your spirits high.
KRONBORG
Restaurant Kronborg is all about coziness and home-cooked food based and good ingredients. It is a classic Danish restaurant and the Christmas months are one of the most festive times of the year at Restaurant Kronborg. Here they serve a homemade, traditional Danish Christmas lunch. It is served from October 31 to December 23 and again from December 27-30. As usual, the opening hours are extended on the occasion of Christmas from November 7 to December 30 ( both days inclusive): Monday to 11.00-23.00, Saturday 11.00-23.30 and Sunday at 11.00-18.00.
AAMANNS
At Aamanns, the traditional Danish dishes get a modern and tasteful overhaul. Respect for good taste and the chef's craft is a driving force in everything they do. This means that they make things from scratch and from proper raw materials. They naturally have Christmas lunch menus at several of their restaurants, for example their beautiful restaurant in the middle of old Copenhagen, Aamanns 1921, where you can enjoy the Christmas menu from 18 November to 30 December.
FASANGAARDEN
True to tradition at Fasangaarden, this year they once again decorate the courtyard with lights, fir trees and Christmas trees and invite you to a classic Christmas lunch on the farm. Here, they love Christmas and look forward to buzzing dining rooms, filled with happy Christmas lunch guests. You can already book their large Christmas table for both lunch and dinner if you want to secure a table. It must be pre-booked in advance and can be ordered from 2 people or more. The price is DKK 635 per person.

PALÆGADE
Friday, November 14, Christmas begins at Restaurant Palægade. Their exquisite Christmas table consists, as always, of the best ingredients and they are looking forward to welcoming a lot of happy Christmas guests to the restaurant. The head chef has put together a Christmas menu with the recognizable dishes – herring, salmon, roast pork and risalamande, all in true Palægade style with a focus on quality and good ingredients. They have two seatings for lunch with arrival between 11.30-12.15 or 14.00-14.45. The Christmas dinner menu consists of the same good classic dishes as for lunch, but in the evening you will also find more exclusive dishes throughout the menu. In the evening there is only one seating with arrival between 18.30-19.30.
RESTAURANT GLASSALEN
As Christmas approaches, Restaurant Glassalen transforms into an atmospheric winter universe in the middle of Tivoli. They invite you to a gastronomic Christmas experience with a focus on traditions, quality and creativity – all in the heart of Copenhagen and beautiful Tivoli. Their kitchen team creates a seasonally inspired Christmas menu with selected dishes that celebrate classic flavors and add a modern twist. Expect everything from delicate appetizers to deep-flavored main courses and beautifully presented desserts – prepared with the best seasonal ingredients.
SELMA
A modern Scandinavian restaurant close to Nørreport station and the popular Torvehallerne. At Selma they create a constantly changing, dynamic and innovative menu with a strong focus on seasonal products. You will find tasty and beautifully presented smørrebrød as well as other Scandinavian dishes. All made with serious craftsmanship, respect for the ingredients and a strong personal attention to detail. Christmas tastes of expectations and traditions and at Selma they offer Christmas cheer, celebration and good taste from November 17. They serve a small and a large Christmas menu, as well as a la carte for lunch.
FREDERIKS HAVE
Christmas at Frederiks Have is a very special time wih a cozy atmosphere in the Fireplace Room and a view of the (hopefully) snowy terrace from the Main Room. They go to great lengths to decorate the entire restaurant in a warm and pleasant Christmas atmosphere that also honors the boutique style of the house.
The Christmas menu this year at Frederiks Have runs from November 17 to and including December 20. The Christmas lunch consists of a 3-course lunch menu for DKK 450 or Haven's Christmas arrangement for DKK 375. Wine menu can be purchased additionally. KOEFOED
This year, the Christmas menu at Restaurant Koefoed runs from November 17 to the 30th of December (closed on December 24). Here, you will find a classic Danish cuisine with inspiration from Bornholm, which can also be seen in the white arches that characterize the interior. For lunch you can choose from a wide selection of classic Danish smørrebrød. For that, choose one of their delicious schnapps - ask the competent staff, who can guide you to a flavor that fits perfectly with your choice of servings. The Bornholm Christmas lunch runs from 11:30-15:00 (only for the whole table) - 3 servings for DKK 495 or 4 servings for DKK 550. You can also choose Koefoed's Christmas plate for DKK 395 or go à la carte.
