Zahida is owned by 2 brothers from the UK who’ve always had a passion for food. Zahida is their mothers name, and she is their inspiration for cooking. “Growing up and witnessing our mother preparing several dishes at once, managing 5 ill behaved kids and entertaining the neighbours at the same time was enough to make us fall madly in love with the food and the hospitality of Pakistani culture”.
At Zahida, you’ll find modern Pakistani comfort food, meaning that all the original spices, flavours and recipes taught to them by their mother is used in the kitchen, but updated with the influence of growing up in modern Britain. They serve classic curries like the butter chicken and aloo gobi, as well as modern takes, such as grill platters, masala steaks and gunpowder bites all with a Pakistani twist. Pair with wine, Mikkeler beer or a delicious cocktail.
